The Financial Wellness Specialist deepens relationships with corporate clients by delivering education to employees through seminars and one-on-one consultations, to empower and improve their financial health. They evaluate participants’ financial needs and help employees maximize their company benefits while also delivering holistic financial programs promoting budgeting, saving, retirement readiness, and overall financial confidence. As an engaging and dynamic presenter, Financial Wellness Specialist inspires and motivates participants to take meaningful next steps towards financial well‑being.
Topics include Retirement, Budgeting, Education Planning as well as Retirement Plan Utilization. Financial Wellness Specialists help employees maximize the benefits of their plan while addressing broader financial priorities and providing an implementation plan, as needed. Series 7 & 66 (63 & 65 in lieu of 66) required and Insurance licenses desired.
- Facilitate events virtually, locally and nationwide as client needs require, as well as conduct one-on-one consultations with employees
- Prepare for all meetings in advance and understand benefit plan details, culture of company, employee demographics, etc.
- Collaborate with Engagement Consultants on strategies for effective delivery of select client events (i.e. in person meetings, webinars, benefit fairs, etc.)
- Support multiple enterprise initiatives by encouraging meeting participants to take action with effective presentation and consultation tactics
- Series 7 and Series 66 (or ability to obtain within compliance timeframe); 63 & 65 are acceptable in lieu of 66
- Proficiency with digital tools, virtual platforms
- Highly organized, results‑oriented and adaptable to employee and company needs
- Expert knowledge of 401(k) plans, equity compensation, Health Savings Account, retirement planning at 5-7 years’ experience
- Proven experience delivering engaging presentations virtually and in-person
- Certified Retirement Plan Counselor designation
