- Manage the expense report process for the company, provide guidance and training to the team
- Supervise and track gifts, office supplies, and expenses
- Ensure there is proper review of the accounts and escalate any differences or issues to the Director of Finance
- Own all tasks related to AR (billing, credit, collections, and receipts) and AP (payable entries, schedules, payments)
- Perform all general ledger transactions and accounts reconciliation
- Assist with monthly/quarterly/annual closing procedures
- Process payroll and related G/L entries
- Assist with benefits administration and human resources
- Assist with preparation of operational reporting
- Help with other ad hoc requests as assigned by Director of Finance or CEO
- Manage office vendors as needed
- Degree in Financial Accounting
- 1 to 2 years of accounting experience in a corporate environment or public accounting
- Familiarity with accounting software systems
- Strong skills in Google Suite and Excel
- Ability to create and present financial reporting
- Capable of handling multiple assignments/projects simultaneously
- Experience working with outside vendors/management of external relationships
- Proven ability to be solutions-oriented and resourceful
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to adapt with an ever-changing and growing start
