Senior Accountant

We’re currently hiring a Full Cycle Senior Accountant to join a growing organization in downtown Chicago
.

This role offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) and is ideal for an accounting professional with 4+ years of experience preparing financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with GAAP
• Produce and present timely financial reports to management and key stakeholders
• Prepare quarterly financial reports in accordance with bank lending requirements
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including manual and system-generated journal entries
• Perform detailed financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making
• Develop ad hoc financial reports and partner closely with the CFO, Controller, Practice Leaders, and Department Directors
• Prepare monthly partner draws and quarterly distribution schedules, including reconciliation of with holdings, personal expenses, and capital contributions
• Oversee fixed asset accounting
  , including recording, tracking, depreciation, and monthly reconciliations
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

• 4+ years of full-cycle or corporate accounting experience
• Strong experience with financial statement preparation and close processes
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership
