Senior Tax Associate – Hybrid | Chicago, IL

Harmer Associates has been exclusively engaged by a long-standing family office client in downtown Chicago to identify a Senior Tax Associate for a newly created position on their growing team. This group manages complex partnership structures, private investments, and multi-entity filings with both U.S. and international exposure. • Prepare and review complex partnership tax returns and supporting work papers
• Coordinate tax compliance and filings for U.S. and foreign entities
• Conduct technical research and communicate findings to management
• Assist with tax planning related to investment activities and structuring
• Support process improvements to enhance compliance efficiency

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of tax experience, ideally with exposure to partnership or investment entities
• CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of federal tax principles; international tax exposure a plus
• Candidates must be based in the Chicago area
