Job Overview – Senior Staff Accountant (Hybrid):
Join our client as a Senior Staff Accountant in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role reports directly to the VP of Finance and is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting operations. You’ll also support cash management, month-end close, financial reporting, and forecasting while contributing to a high-performing finance team.

Compensation: $100,000 – $110,000/year + bonus

Location: Chicago, IL

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

• Accounting Operations:
  Oversee day-to-day operations for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting functions.
• Month-End Close:
  Perform month-end close activities, including financial reporting and account reconciliations.
• Cash Management:
  Partner with the VP of Finance to manage and forecast weekly cash flow.
• Reporting & Analysis:
  Prepare periodic financial statements and fulfill additional reporting requirements as needed.
• Collaboration:
  
  Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience:
  
  5-7 years of experience in General Accounting or Finance (agency experience is required).
• Skills:
  
  Demonstrates strong foundational accounting knowledge, with exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and customer service abilities.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office Suite, Net Suite, Harvest, Tipalti, and related software tools.
• Attributes:
  Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
