A fast-growing, impact-oriented private investment platform is seeking a Fund Controller to lead all finance and accounting operations for a recently launched fund strategy. You'll report directly into the Fund CFO and will collaborate heavily with the real estate asset management team.
Responsibilities- Oversee fund accounting, GAAP financials, investor reporting, capital activity, and compliance
- Manage audits, tax processes, fund admins, and external advisors
- Monitor cash flows, financing structures, and credit facilities
- Support fund structuring, capital raising, and new initiatives
- Lead and develop a growing finance team (minimum 2 direct reports)
- 15+ years in real estate / private equity fund accounting
- Prior Fund Controller or Assistant Controller experience strongly preferred
- Deep expertise in partnership accounting and open-ended fund structures
- CPA strongly preferred
- Builder mindset with comfort operating in a growing, evolving environment
