OverviewThe Underwriting Technician will support the development, growth, and maintenance of the AmTrust Executive portfolio by providing administrative support to the management liability underwriting team. Responsibilities include policy processing and issuance forلفات new business and/or renewal preparation, quoting and issuance, endorsement processing, cancellations, and other related tasks. The technician may hold a limited Letter of Underwriting Authority. Success requires a self‑motivated, adaptable individual who can collaborate effectively within a team and uphold AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities- Complete policy processing and issuance for new business and/or renewal preparation, quoting and issuance, endorsement processing, cancellations, and other policy processing tasks.
- Fulfilling broker requests for loss runs, copies of policies, invoices, and related documents.
- Provide agency support for renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquiries, and commission questions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external contacts.
- Complete renewal proposals as requested.
- Manually rate coverages and/or policies that are not fully automated.
- Ensure file documentation follows best practice guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with the underwriting team, keeping peers and management informed of all issues and activity.
- Provide professional, timely, and courteous communication and service to external clients and cross‑departmental staff to resolve issues concerning policyholders and underwriting.
- Keep current with market trends and demands.
- Perform other functionally related duties as assigned.
- High School Graduate as minimum education requirement.
- Efficient, well‑organized, and self‑motivated.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, One Note).
- Capable of learning and maintaining strong technical skills.

Salary range: $49,000-$72,000 (general guideline).
