We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of a commercial real estate portfolio located in Chicago, IL.

* Responsibilities Include:

*** Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
* Track and prepare tenant billbacks
* Manage annual CAM reconciliations alongside the Assistant General Manager
* Prepare tenant termination forms
* Assist with cash management procedures
* Assist with preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
* Prepare monthly accruals
* Analyze and execute leases, including abstracting key financial terms and ensuring proper accounting administration
* Prepare and distribute monthly rent statements
* W-9 management
* Administrative duties as needed
** Requirements**:
* 3-5 years of property accounting experience preferred
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and RE accounting principles
* Yardi proficient
* Strong Excel skills
* Experience with lease administration preferred
* Strong analytical and organizational skills
* Demonstrates consistency in values, principles, and work ethic
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and proficient time management
* Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

** Estimated compensation for this position:
** 80,000.00 – 90,000.00 USD per year
* This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
