Manager - Lender Services
Position Summary
Responsibilities- Mentor and lead LS Team
- Manage LS team responsibilities and work with Directors and Partners on a regular basis
- Assist and maintain an updated budget and fee analysis
- Ability to service multiple chargeable client engagements simultaneously
- Review and continuously evaluate reports and projects from LS Team related to clients
- Lead the collateral analysis for field exams
- Consult financial statement information (income statements, balance sheets, and other reports) and provide thoughtful business observations and conclusions
- Consult and support LS team members in the development of high‑level reports and client presentations to support business strategy and need
- Propose solutions to lender risks and problem solution tactics
- Participate in the active recruitment and training of new LS team members, specifically Associates
- Active participation in team meetings, calls, client relations and serve as secondary point of contact for clients when needed
- Actively engages and seeks new business opportunities for aspects of LS and the firm
- 7+ years of experience in an audit or transaction advisory practice within a national or regional public accounting or consulting firm
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong project management experience
- Travel on an as‑needed basis
- Demonstrated experience networking and communicating with lender advisory executives
- CPA certification
- Exceptional balance of strong audit skills and business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with in‑house team members and outside prospects and clients of the firm
- Ability to be self‑starter and confident when interacting with clients and asking questions
- Ability to operate within tight deadlines and take responsibility for completing an engagement in a timely manner
- Ability to apply critical thought and problem‑solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
