Our client, a well‑established healthcare organization, is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee key accounting functions including Month‑End Close, Financial Reporting, Audits, Accounts Receivable/Payable, and Payroll. This role reports directly to the CFO and collaborates closely with the VP of Finance and other senior leaders.

• Lead the monthly financial close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Oversee AR/AP, payroll, and daily financial operations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate external audits, including annual financial statement audits and grant audits.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial analysis and maintain strong internal controls.

• Education:
  
  BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Experience:
  
  5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership.
• Preferred:
  Healthcare industry experience; CPA or MBA (not required but a plus).
