About this job

The Financial Services Data as a Service (DaaS) Research Team delivers support and insights related to the raw datasets utilized by the investing community. Our products and services serve the Asset Management industry, which includes Hedge Funds, Mutual Funds, Pension Funds, Quantitative Funds, and Private Equity. We’re a team of data‑driven analysts passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and clearly communicating those insights to our sophisticated investing clientele.

As a Senior Associate with a Private Equity focus, you will contribute to analyses and presentations using NIQ’s suite of US‑based and global datasets and analytical models. You will collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and thought leaders to inform strategic recommendations for Private Equity clients within our Due Diligence Consulting practice.

We expect you to be an effective communicator, proactive team player, strong analytical and storytelling skills, with knowledge of point‑of‑sale and consumer data to provide meaningful assessments. You should be comfortable collaborating cross‑functionally and with stakeholders at all levels. You understand Private Equity due diligence language, anticipate client questions, and approach challenges with curiosity and confidence.

  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Financial Services, Consulting, Analytics, Brand Strategy, Investment Banking, or related roles with exposure to data‑driven decision making.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills, understanding how to prioritize under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely in oral and written form.
  • Adaptable to fast‑paced environments and capable of meeting deadlines even when requirements evolve.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills with a client‑first mindset.
