Senior Settlement Specialist

A leading private credit investment firm is hiring a Senior Settlement Specialist to support loan trade settlements across multiple credit funds. This role sits within the Operations / Treasury ecosystem and plays a critical role in ensuring loan transactions close accurately, on time, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with syndicated loan settlement experience looking to move further into the buy-side private credit space.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Execute and oversee loan trade settlements across multiple investment vehicles
  • Coordinate cash movements with trustees and internal Treasury teams
  • Prepare, review, and distribute trade and settlement documentation (Assignments, Funding Memos, Trade Tickets, etc.)
  • Work closely with agents, counter parties, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate settlement
  • Confirm internal approvals and ensure all deal requirements are satisfied prior to closing
  • Support KYC and tax documentation processes, including complex corporate structures
  • Assist with bond settlements, audits, and special projects as needed
  • Contribute to process improvement and documentation of procedures
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in loan settlements, operations, or related credit roles
  • Strong understanding of Broadly Syndicated Loans
  • Experience with Clear Par and LSTA documentation preferred
  • Ability to review and extract key terms from credit agreements (rates, amortization, fees)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Enthusiastic about working in-office and contributing to a high-performing, collaborative culture
