OpportunityHandling tax in a large, sophisticated organization requires more than a technical understanding of current tax practices. In this role, you’ll apply your knowledge to a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes for complex issues while building your career and collaborating with engaging colleagues.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Support client engagements by coordinating day‑to‑day interactions with clients, reviewing staff work product, and driving delivery of services to meet deadlines.
- Develop internal team members, manage engagement economics, and continuously build technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments, and legislation impacting our clients.
- Demonstrate an understanding of complex commercial real and personal property tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations.
- Develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that exceed client expectations.
- Identify and offer opportunities for tax planning and other special services.
- Prepare quality, practical approaches to the client's tax situation and arrive at appropriate conclusions.
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant property tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry.
- CPA or JD.
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
- Excellent managerial, organizational, analytical and verbal/written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed, and ability to work in a balanced hybrid environment.
- A proven record in a professional services environment.
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with performance‑based rewards, medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Base salary ranges: $105,100–$192,600 nationwide; $126,100–$218,900 for NY, Washington, and most of California.
- Hybrid work model with expectation of 40‑60% in‑person engagement work.
