Our client, a reputable wealth management and financial planning firm with more than 20 years in the Buffalo Grove and Chicago area, is seeking an experienced Lead Financial Planner / Service Advisor. The firm offers comprehensive financial planning, retirement planning, and investment management services.

• 120k-150k base salary

• Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Lead and support financial planning and review meetings
• Prepare comprehensive retirement income plans and financial projections
• Develop investment portfolio summaries and asset allocation analyses
• Utilize tax planning software to identify tax strategies and planning opportunities
• Prepare annuity, life insurance, and long-term care illustrations
• Collaborate with Lead Advisors and planning team within a pod structure
• Manage follow-ups and maintain proactive client communication

• 3+ years of experience as a Financial Planner or Advisor
• Series 65 or 66 required
• CFP preferred (or willingness to obtain within 2 years)
• Life Insurance License preferred (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
