• Profitably manage a derivatives portfolio and dynamically manage risk to stay under prescribed risk limits
• Work with technology and quant teams to ensure existing algorithms function properly
• Analyze data to optimize parameters
• Introduce improvements to our algorithms to best provide liquidity

• 1+ years of market making experience (responsibility for PnL and risk)
• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science or related/equivalent field
• Strong math aptitude, numerical and quantitative analysis skills
• Entrepreneurial self-starter ready to work in a fast-paced, team environment
• Passionate about problem-solving and finding creative solutions in a changing market
• Ability to communicate effectively while fostering professional relationships
• Detail-oriented
• Ability to react quickly to rapidly changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems as part of the role

In accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay Act, the minimum base salary starts at $130,000. Exact compensation may vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, and skill set. This role is also eligible for a discretionary performance bonus and includes a comprehensive benefits package that may encompass employer-paid medical, dental, vision, retirement contributions, paid time off, and other benefits. The minimum base salary is determined in good faith by Akuna Capital LLC.
