Rotary International South Asia Office (RISAO) provides services to more than 9000 Clubs and close to 3 lakh Rotary members spread in 7 countries in South Asia i.e. India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives beside assisting Rotary International headquarters located in Chicago, IL, USA by providing guidance/dissemination of Rotary’s policies and procedures to Rotary leaders in South Asia, handles legal & stewardship issues & contributions received from India as well as financial reporting of Fiscal Agents in other countries in South Asia.

OverviewThis Position will focus on statutory compliance, financial reporting and accounting compliance. The candidate will maintain financial records, support in ensuring compliance in Income tax, GST and CSR processes, assisting in audit processes, and assist in preparing CSR reports. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance related to Income tax, GST and Companies Act, improving financial process efficiency, and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
This position will directly support the need of statutory and regulatory compliances as applicable for not-for- profit organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce is a must. Proficiency in computers, accounting software and MS Office is required. Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience required, preferably in an accounting environment with related organization/institution.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills- must be able to work with a variety of teams to create comprehensive strategies
- Effective problem-solving abilities and strong organizational skills
- Good knowledge of accounting is essential.
- Project management experience - must be able to develop processes, manage multiple priorities, and work under time constraints with autonomy within project parameters.
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be self-motivated and organized; able to take direction and work independently.
- Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite. (Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio), accounting software & Tally accounting, Oracle Accounting.
- Good written and verbal skills in English and Hindi are essential. Ability to understand and speak a local language(s) desired.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team.
- Communication with Rotarians, answering their routine queries.
