LaSalle Network is hiring for an Accounts Payable Lead to support a fast‑growing Consumer Packaged Goods organization in Downtown Chicago. This hybrid, open‑ended contract opportunity is ideal for an AP Lead who enjoys moving beyond transactional processing into a strategic, high‑impact role. You’ll serve as the connective tissue between internal teams and an offshore AP partner while ensuring accuracy, compliance and process excellence.

As the Accounts Payable Lead
, you’ll bring deep knowledge of the full AP lifecycle, strong SAP expertise and a solutions‑first mindset. This role reports to the Director of Shared Services and plays a key role in keeping the procure‑to‑pay engine running smoothly.

What’s the job?

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the offshore Accounts Payable team
• Resolve complex PO and Non‑PO invoice issues and ensure SLA adherence
• Oversee Travel & Expense (T&E) processes and policy compliance
• Lead vendor banking verification and fraud‑prevention efforts
• Partner with Procurement and Finance to optimize procure‑to‑pay workflows
  
  Act as liaison between vendors, internal stakeholders and offshore partners
• Support month‑end close and internal/external audit requests

What’s needed?

• 4+ years of Accounts Payable or Accounting experience
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Lead or senior AP SME
• SAP proficiency required
• Strong understanding of PO and Non‑PO invoice workflows
• Experience working with offshore or BPO teams preferred
• Exceptional communication and problem‑solving skills
• High attention to detail, especially with vendor data and controls
