KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Property Tax to join our State and Local Tax (SALT) practice.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent client service to multi-state companies with property tax compliance
- Evaluate information presented on property tax returns before, during, and after preparation
- Assist in property tax bill payment and return preparation using Property Tax Management Services (PTMS)
- Review assessment notices to identify any discrepancies
- Minimum three years of recent work experience, including a minimum of two years of experience in personal property tax compliance preparing property tax returns, bill payments, and valuation notices using PTMS
- Bachelor's degree required. J.D., LL.M. in taxation; master's in taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university or CMI (Certified Member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation) preferred
- Experience with various other taxes and their impact on property tax
- Strong knowledge of the development, planning, and execution related to property tax

Compensation for this position is competitive and may be determined based on skills, responsibilities, experience, relevant degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
