The opportunityOur actuarial advisers deliver creative and innovative thinking to high‑profile property and casualty insurance companies worldwide, helping them make confident financial decisions aligned with their business goals. As an actuary, you will lead engagement teams, work directly with clients, mentor and develop team members, and build your personal brand as a leader in your field.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Reserving, actuarial opinion and regulatory services
- Rate making analytics and services
- Actuarial process redesign and software integration
- Predictive analytics
- Data visualization
- Market strategy advice
- Reinsurance analysis and advice
- Ad hoc financial reporting advice
- Build strong relationships with client personnel and consistently deliver high‑quality services.
- Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about outcomes.
- Stay abreast of current business, regulatory and industry trends relevant to the client’s business.
- Demonstrate in‑depth technical actuarial expertise and professional knowledge.
- Exhibit strong business acumen and a commitment to continuous learning.
- Commit to developing a strong personal brand by staying informed regarding economic/market developments and their impact on the firm’s clients.
- Progress toward professional credentials from the Casualty Actuarial Society or other industry organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Approximately 3+ years of experience in an actuarial position.
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS) or actively pursuing Associateship within the Casualty Actuarial Society with a minimum of 5 actuarial exams passed.
- 2 years of experience with Excel, SAS, VBA and/or C++.
- Strong writing, presentation, conceptual, analytical, and interpersonal skills as evidenced by preparing and presenting results and/or findings to clients or senior management.
- Ability to understand and persuade on complex subjects both in writing and verbally.
- Experience working in a team environment on project‑based work.
- 2 years of experience with R, Python, or other relevant programming languages.
- Previous consulting experience or experience implementing new processes/procedures in a corporate environment.

- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range from $110,500 to $202,700 in the U.S., adjusted by geography.
- Hybrid work model: external, client‑serving roles typically work together in person 40–60% of the time.
