Senior Anti Laundering Analyst

Senior Anti Money Laundering Analysts investigate and monitor suspicious financial activities, ensuring compliance with AML regulations.

Location:

Chicago, IL.

• Monitor transactions for suspicious trends.
• Conduct due diligence on suspicious accounts.
• Report activity to other employers.
• Ensure all transactions are in compliance with financial regulations.
• Oversee a database of financial transactions.
• Investigate and assess the financial risks posed by the company’s operations and monitor/regulate high‑risk activities.
• Communicate with regulators and auditors regularly to explain risk monitoring, control, and prioritization techniques.
• Report information that illustrates the organization’s overall performance in terms of risk mitigation.
• Examine data and solutions to verify all AML regulations are met.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or economics.
• Investigative skills.
• Experience with regulatory and compliance management.
• Strong communication abilities.
• Ability to multi‑task, set priorities and adhere to deadlines.
• Understand and demonstrate the importance of financial compliance.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

• Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.
• General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency.

Annual Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 USD.
