Overview
Role Overview
This critical role manages billing workflows and operations from beginning to end. Ensuring accurate and timely project support to finance teams, clients, and project managers, resolving discrepancies and tracking work-in-progress. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, tech savvy, and skilled in project-based billing and accounting support.
Responsibilities- Coordinate monthly invoicing cycles, collaborating with teams to review contracts, billing terms, and project reporting
- Set up, maintain, and close-out projects in billing portals, uploading invoices and ensuring proper documentation
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments
- Facilitate vendor payment processing and responding to check requests
- Validate project timelines and labor hours with Project Leads for accurate time-reporting
- Track expenses, purchase orders, materials and equipment lists for validation prior to billing
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to support revenue recognition and reporting accuracy
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting related to project billing and reconciliation
- Provide assistance to Controller, CFO, and other accounting team staff monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- Skilled communicator and excellent attention to detail
- At least 4+ years of experience
- Must be able to partner with teams internally and externally with ease
- Should have prior experience with T&E billing policies
- Comfortable using ERP systems (Business Central, Dynamics GP, Viewpoint, or Net Suite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
$70,000-$100,000 Dependent on skill-level, years’ of experience, and other factors
