Compensation Range: $125-160k
Job Description:
Lead the design, implementation, and advancement of innovative manufacturing systems to support strategic production initiatives and long-term operational excellence.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Lead Production Preparedness Process (3P) events to design and implement manufacturing systems meeting SQDC metrics
- Manage cross-functional engineering teams to execute manufacturing projects end-to-end
- Research, evaluate, and onboard new technologies, suppliers, and automation solutions
- Present project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership using data-driven analysis
- Own and manage capital project budgets exceeding $10M, including ROI analysis
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing engineering processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Requirements:
Must-Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience designing and implementing processes in high-volume, high-mix or semi-automated manufacturing environments
- Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, DFMA, and manufacturing systems design
- Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept through validation and sustainment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical and business acumen with a data-driven mindset
Nice-to-Haves:
- Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification
- PMP certification
- Experience with DFSS, advanced automation, and CAD tools
