81135 – Senior Mechanical Engineer

• Senior Mechanical Engineer responsible for designing equipment from concept to completion.
• Provide Technical support to our customers and explain and defend our proposed machine design.

• Minimum of 8 years of experience as a design engineer with a strong background in Industrial Machinery. Successfully completed bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in the Machine Building Industry or Metal forming Industry a plus.
• Must possess analytical/problem solving skills, knowledge of material selection and design for manufacturability.
• Proficient with 3D and 2D Design Software, Inventor or Auto Cad a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Some travel required (Mainly in the United States, Canada and Mexico)

• Design Equipment from concept to completion based on reference machines
• Must be able to make force and material strength calculations
• Interface with Sales, Manufacturing and Suppliers
• Explain our technology to customers
• Recommend and implement design modifications to improve performance, reduce timeline and control costs.
• Investigate system malfunctions, identify root cause and corrective actions, and provide technical information to justify conclusions.
• Assist with development, coordination, and monitoring of all aspects of machine production, including selection of manufacturing methods, design, and fabrication of tooling and fixtures.
• Review of functional test procedures and testing methods.
• Familiarity with Hydraulics Systems a plus
