Job Description

Lead the design, implementation, and advancement of innovative manufacturing systems to support strategic production initiatives and long-term operational excellence.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead Production Preparedness Process (3P) events to design and implement manufacturing systems meeting SQDC metrics
  • Manage cross-functional engineering teams to execute manufacturing projects end-to-end
  • Research, evaluate, and onboard new technologies, suppliers, and automation solutions
  • Present project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership using data-driven analysis
  • Own and manage capital project budgets exceeding $10M, including ROI analysis
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing engineering processes
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Requirements

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing processes in high-volume, high-mix or semi-automated manufacturing environments
  • Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma, value stream mapping, DFMA, and manufacturing systems design
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects from concept through validation and sustainment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and business acumen with a data-driven mindset

Nice-to-Haves

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Lean Six Sigma (LSS) certification
  • PMP certification
  • Experience with DFSS, advanced automation, and CAD tools
