Job Description

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for a talented construction Sr. Scheduler to join our team of professionals in Chicago, IL.

Job duties:

  • Skilled in the use of company cornerstone systems and able to represent cost data formats necessary to control the project.
  • Understands financial terminology and measures and recognizes the financial impact of various project actions.
  • Participates in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues.
  • May assist in leading junior staff through assignment tasks.
  • Participates in tracking action items.
  • Able to use drawings and specifications in the establishment of project baseline data.
  • Evaluates manpower, labor hour, and labor cost requirements versus budget limitations including preparation of variance analysis.
  • Compares actual cost to funding limitations. Prepares expenditure forecasts to identify critical points in project funding.
  • Understands the manner in which profits on projects are budgeted and the extent to which the budget value is achieved.
  • Scope control and change management,tracking systems to ensure project management is alerted to change orders.
  • Creates and assists with cost/schedule baseline budgets.
  • Familiar with basic cost/schedule integration and basic critical path analysis and other rescheduling concepts.
  • Prepares and facilitates accurate construction schedules.

Qualifications
  • BS Engineering/Construction Project Management, Finance or related curriculum and 6 years of experience in the field of construction scheduling and project controls or AA/AS and 8 years of relevant experience or HSD/GED and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstratedequivalency of experience and/or education.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in management of construction related scheduling.
  • Experience working on mega-construction projects as a Scheduler.
  • Experience analyzing schedule variances.
  • Airport, datacenter, stadium constructionexperience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc.
