We are seeking a talented Quality Manager for our Architecture and Engineering Group. In addition to performing design duties as either an Architect or Professional Engineer, the role is responsible for ensuring that project documents adhere to our contractual requirements, applicable codes, and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will work closely with project teams addressing quality challenges through project reviews, mentoring, and training.

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for exp Federal's projects. This role reviews and documents compliance with company standards, client specifications, and regulatory requirements, while promoting a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence. Principle areas of responsibility are:
* Perform duties as outlined in applicable professionally licensed discipline position description.

* Quality Program Management encompasses approximately 20% of the workweek performing duties as the Quality Manager supporting the Corporate Quality Officer.

* Maintain, update and enforce the company's QA/QC plan across all projects. Review project documents and specifications for compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client requirements. Participate in design reviews at designated milestones.

* Conduct Root Cause Analysis:
Investigate the origins of design defects and construction Requests For Information (RFI) and recommend corrective or preventive actions to avoid recurrence.

* Cross-Discipline

Collaboration:

Coordinate efforts of design teams, project managers, and subconsultants to resolve quality issues early in the project lifecycle.
* Team Development:
Communicate quality requirements to internal teams and external partners.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical Engineering required.

* 12+ years' experience in degreed discipline with a role involving QA/QC oversight

* On site construction experience working with design team and Contractors.

* Building science or Building Envelope detailing experience preferred.

* Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance is required.
* Experience with facilities for clients in the Federal Government sector is highly desirable. Salary Base:
This full-time position as a Licensed Professional with Quality Manager duties is a level IV or above and has an annual base range of $142,000 to $185,000. This position is eligible for overtime in accordance with local, state, and federal requirements. The actual hourly rate is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
