Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative work environment

Assign tasks and monitor progress to ensure milestones are met on schedule

Strategic Planning & Oversight Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation

Ensure all roadway design and construction activities align with jurisdictional standards

Oversee multiple phases of roadway projects from conceptual planning to final design and construction

Client & Stakeholder Engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for clients government agencies and community stakeholders

Lead presentations public hearings and meetings to communicate project goals and updates

Address concerns and incorporate feedback into project development

Financial & Contractual Management Manage contracts billing and collections to ensure project profitability

Track expenditures and maintain strict cost control throughout the project life cycle

Minimum requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or similar required

Requires a minimum of 15 years of professional experience

Requires 5 years of project management and client interface experience

Technical requirements Professional Engineer PE License Required Illinois PE preferred or the ability to get within 6 months

Must have strong oral and technical writing skills

Must have familiarity with Micro Station and preferably ORD experience

Familiarity with IDOT Illinois Tollway andor CDOT rules and regulations
