Civil Engineering Project Manager

Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for civil engineering and transportation projects? We are seeking a Civil Engineering Project Manager to join a dynamic team in our Chicago office.

This role offers the opportunity to lead and expand a significant transportation portfolio, working on diverse and impactful projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design and manage stormwater management and detention systems.
• Conduct hydraulics and hydrology modeling.
• Develop storm sewer designs and oversee grading and earthwork.
• Plan underground utilities and perform quantity takeoffs.
• Create construction specifications and details.
• Design roadways, intersections, and sidewalks.
• Engage in corridor development and concept planning.
• Support project management tasks, including budget and schedule oversight.
• Prepare comprehensive reports and plans with minimal supervision.
• Lead client meetings and facilitate internal coordination sessions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 4-8 years of civil engineering experience.
• P.E. license preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with federally funded projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent project and time management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
• Strong communication skills with experience leading meetings.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
