  • Conduct internal environmental audits
, track corrective actions, and prepare reports

  • Maintain site‑wide environmental documentation
, including SOPs and compliance logs
  • Monitor regulatory changes and adjust site programs as needed
  • Develop and deliver training on environmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with operations, facilities, and corporate teams on environmental improvements
  • Launch and maintain site‑wide environmental improvement initiatives and refresh outdated programs
Qualifications
  • 5–10+ years of experience in environmental compliance, auditing, or permitting
  • Strong experience with ISO 14001 EMS program management
  • Hands‑on knowledge of hazardous waste
    , wastewater
    , and air/water permitting
  • Familiarity with Chicago and Illinois environmental regulations
  • Proven ability to own and drive environmental programs independently
  • Strong communication, audit prep, and regulatory liaison skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Environmental certifications (e.g., RCRA, ISO 14001 Auditor) are a plus
