Electrical Drafter

Overview

(Hybrid) Do you have a passion for design and pay strong attention to detail? We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Electrical Drafter to join our team in Chicago. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings under the Electrical Engineering team's guidance.

• Create and modify industrial control panel drawings in AutoCAD Electrical under the direction of the Electrical Engineering team
• Update drawings per markups during the project lifecycle
• Support panel building and on-site commissioning activities
• Work to a variety of standards, equipment, and components on a project-by-project basis
• Assist in the creation, testing, and maintenance of automated drafting and design tools in AutoCAD Electrical

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum GPA of 3.4
• 2+ years of experience with AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and/or EPlan
• Technically proficient in using software applications such as Microsoft 365, etc.
• Experience drawing industrial control panels
• Ability to effectively apply all drafting standards, practices, and procedures
• Must be detail oriented
• Self-motivated with a high level of commitment; able to work independently and as a team player
• Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Compensation is based on relevant experience, industry and location standards.

Salary Range

$55,000—$70,000 USD
