Job DescriptionAECOM
’s Chicago Buildings + Places team is seeking a BIM & Digital Technology Lead who will serve as a subject matter expert for Revit and other digital design tools within the practice including developing, implementing, supporting, training, and strategizing all things BIM. This critical leadership role will support teams on all projects from concept through construction leveraging BIM workflows to maximize the team’s efficiency, quality and use of the firm’s multiple design technologies.

About the Chicago Buildings + Places Team
Our practice is one of the fastest growing and highest-performing B+P practices in
AECOM’s West Region. We offer a full suite of services: architecture, interiors, building systems and structural engineering, urbanism and planning (including landscape), workplace transformation, advisory services, technology solutions, and digital delivery - and serve as a Center of Excellence for many of these disciplines.
We work in a collaborative model across the West Region with other B+P practices, as well as with AECOM’s Transportation, Water, Environment and Advisory business lines to support vertical infrastructure and comprehensive solutions. What You’ll Do
You’ll lead across two core areas: BIM and Digital Technology - owning outcomes from pursuit through post-occupancy.
Project Delivery
- Meet with PM for Initial Project Review to discuss deliverables, digital opportunities, Staffing Skills, Technology Goals, and requirements in RFP.
- Assess project team selected, evaluate skill level and determine if any necessary team training is needed.
- Ensure every project has an identified Project BIM Lead (BPL).
