Job DescriptionThe Technical Lead oversees and guides mechanical design efforts across multiple programs. The role demands a motivated, results‑driven design engineer who can lead cross‑functional teams and drive projects to completion.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and lead the technical design team within one or more programs in a multi‑disciplinary, multi‑site environment.
- Understand priorities to develop and communicate action plans internally and externally.
- Assist in defining the planning and resources required to achieve the success of the technical design activities.
- Identify potential problems early and suggest options based on cost, time, and requirements.
- Design, build, and test prototypes to characterize performance.
- Resolve complex technical problems within timing and cost constraints.
- Collaborate with Nemera’s injection molding tooling experts to implement DFM/DFA into detailed designs for high‑volume manufacturing.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7+ years of product development experience.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.).
- Proficiency in CAD software, Solid Works, and other relevant engineering tools.
- Experience managing all technical aspects of device development.
- Experience with high‑volume production, injection molding, and automation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to lead technical teams.
- Ability to network across the organization to support activities across multiple sites.
- Experience working in a consulting environment.
- Basic familiarity with electronics and software.

Position RangeSalary: $135,000 USD – $165,000 USD (Salaried). This is the range we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting.
