Watch your work come to life on complex, high‑profile projects when you join a leading building services consultancy as a Senior Project Manager. You’ll represent the firm with clients, architects and contractors while leading the delivery of coordinated, high‑performing mechanical systems across a range of building types. Your experience in previous roles will have been as either a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer.
What you’ll be doing- Lead the MEP scope on projects, representing the firm with clients, contractors, architects and wider project teams.
- Define system applications, design parameters and operating sequences in collaboration with senior technical leaders.
- Oversee and participate in QA/QC for your work and that of others, ensuring quality, compliance and consistency.
- Support project planning: input on scheduling, resourcing and budgets alongside senior staff.
- Carry out site visits and field investigations, prepare detailed inspection reports and support construction administration.
- Handle RFIs, change orders, bulletins and addenda to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Contribute to proposals and fee letters under the direction of senior engineers/designers and participate in industry organisations and presentations.
- Prepare rough‑order‑of‑magnitude (ROM) estimates and assess constructability and feasibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline from an accredited university.
- 10+ years’ experience in a consulting engineering environment, focused on building services / MEP.
- Strong proficiency with Revit and current AutoCAD MEP; able to produce and mark up design documentation.
- Ability to read and evaluate plans, sections and elevations and comfortably visualise 3D building space.
- Expertise with mechanical design and calculation software and a track record of sound system selections.
- Solid understanding of related disciplines and how mechanical integrates with architectural and other engineering trades.
- Thorough working knowledge of relevant building and mechanical codes.
- Experience with SKM or similar software for short‑circuit, coordination and arc‑flash studies is a strong plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licence required.
