Environmental Field Technician

Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Environmental Field Technician to join our team!

• Perform AFFF cleanout of fire-fighting systems and vehicles and manage water treatment using state-of-the-art technology.
• Requires skills and experience associated with wastewater treatment industry, manual labor, heavy lifting, heavy travel, and overtime.

• High School diploma or equivalent, with typically 4+ years of related work experience, or an Associate's Degree in a related field with 2+ years of experience.
• Completion of a 40-hour OSHA training course with annual 8-hour update required for industrial or hazardous wastewater operations.

• Experience operating remedial systems, particularly water treatment systems (flocculation, fluid circulation systems, etc.).
• Experience collecting and managing environmental samples for laboratory analysis.
• Effective verbal and written communicator, able to write and edit plans, reports, procedures, and work within MS Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
