Tolling Market Lead

The Tolling Market Lead partners with local area teams to cultivate and manage client relationships with toll agencies worldwide. This role champions identification and development of projects and programs for toll facility clients across the 36 operating areas within HDR’s transportation business group and is responsible for enhancing and developing HDR’s suite of toll industry services.

• Develop and promote services such as AET conversions, planning and design for toll technology, mobility and operational technology services, and advisory services.
• Drive growth and success of tolling services and programs for toll road and toll facility clients.
• Partner with local area business development leaders and business group managers to research trends, pursue opportunities, and build client relationships.
• Collaborate with HDR leaders to broaden tolling services offered and provide professional development for staff.
• Lead HDR’s strategy for industry organization presence, including IBTTA and others.

• PE (Preferred)
• Recognized leader in the Toll Roads/Toll Facilities space
• Proven ability to set and execute growth strategy for a practice, ideally in the Tolling market
• Established relationships with major toll clients/DOTs

• Bachelor's Degree in architecture, engineering, planning or related field
• Minimum 10 years of industry experience
• Experience in strategic marketing programs and client relationship management for architecture, engineering, or planning services
• Experience in staff development: recruiting, career path, professional growth
• Experience with industry associations and a visible market sector profile
• Ability to collaborate with senior HDR leaders across market sectors
• Demonstrated commitment to HDR values and active participation in employee‑owned culture
