Role SummaryThe Environmental Compliance Manager - Air Quality will oversee and deliver regulatory compliance and air quality initiatives for industrial and manufacturing clients nationwide. This role blends technical leadership with client advisory responsibilities, requiring hands‑on project management, cross‑functional coordination, and strategic input throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Lead air quality compliance efforts, including emissions calculations, regulatory applicability reviews, and preparation of air permit applications.
- Develop greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories and support environmental reporting requirements.
- Prepare and manage RCRA hazardous waste, NPDES stormwater, and wastewater permitting for complex industrial sites.
- Produce EPCRA compliance deliverables (Tier II, TRI) and conduct regulatory compliance assessments and audits.
- Define project scopes, develop budgets, manage schedules, and serve as a primary point of contact for clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering or environmental discipline.
- 2-8 years of professional experience in environmental compliance, air quality, or industrial regulatory support.
- Demonstrated experience performing air emissions calculations or a background in chemical engineering or meteorology.
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state environmental regulations.
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% as project needs require.
- Experience supporting environmental due diligence or transaction‑related consulting engagements.
- Exposure to air dispersion modeling and/or greenhouse gas reporting.
- Prior involvement with Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Consulting experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or portfolio‑based clients.
- Ownership & Influence: Lead projects end‑to‑end and act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal teams.

- Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary range: $90,000‑$130,000, depending on experience, location, and qualifications.
