Looking to make an immediate impact while working on diverse, high-profile projects? We’re seeking a Design Engineer (HVAC) to join our client their Chicago office.
In this role, you’ll support the design of HVAC systems across corporate, academic, healthcare, science & tech, and mixed-use projects. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and contribute from concept through construction.
- Perform load calculations and equipment sizing
- Prepare drawings and specifications in Revit and AutoCAD
- Assist with system analyses and engineering studies
- Support client meetings and occasional site visits
- Associate degree or equivalent technical training
- 4+ years of HVAC design experience (MEP firm preferred)
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and codes
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree (BSME or BSMET)
- EIT or PE certification
