Our client is a leading producer of resins and coatings with more than a dozen North American manufacturing facilities. They currently seek a Process Quality Engineer to provide company wide processes analysis and support to ensure consistency between plants and identify improvement opportunities within those manufacturing facilities. This engineer will also support quality initiatives with key customers. This is a corporate role with multi-site responsibility.
Domestic travel will be roughly 15% with occasional international travel.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or chemistry. NO OTHER DEGREES WILL BE CONSIDERED. It also requires a minimum of 5 years of post-graduate, hands-on, in-plant process engineering experience in a PSM-regulated chemical manufacturing environment. Previous experience analyzing production data, identifying opportunities for improvement, and identifying and correcting quality issues are required. Must have experience working directly with external customers.
