Overview
Location: Chicago, IL – Primarily based at client sites throughout the Chicagoland area.
Responsibilities- Work exclusively with BAS and HVAC systems in the field.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and update HVAC systems and associated controls.
- Download, update, and verify software for accuracy.
- Calibrate and test HVAC systems and controls to ensure optimal performance.
- Perform system maintenance on field controllers, servers, workstations, and hardware.
- Apply knowledge of computer systems, networking, controls, and mechanical/electrical disciplines.
- Experience in HVAC controls, BAS, or PLCs.
- Ability to work independently at various client locations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- 4 weeks of PTO & 12 paid holidays offered.
- Overtime opportunities are available for employees who wish to take on additional hours.
- A company vehicle will be provided within your first 12 months of employment, likely sooner, based on availability. Until a vehicle is provided, you may use your own vehicle and will receive additional compensation for its use.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.25 - $46.00/hr.
