Field Service Technician

Overview

A client of Insight Global is looking for a qualified Field Service Technician. This individual must be mechanically oriented with a love for hands-on, physical labor. They will be working on a customer site in the Chicago area, servicing Pagewide Press printers, performing preventative maintenance, break-fix tasks, resolving open cases, etc. This role requires a strong focus on customer support and interaction, as the technician will engage with customers daily.

• Perform preventative maintenance on Pagewide Press printers.
• Conduct break-fix repairs and troubleshoot hardware issues on-site at customer locations.
• Resolve open cases and ensure timely resolution with clear communication to customers.
• Interact with customers daily to provide professional support and service.

• 4–5 years hands-on mechanical experience with large printers.
• Strong technical acumen and mechanical aptitude.
• Good work ethic, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
• Customer support experience;
  Pagewide Press printer experience is preferred.
