Position: Project Manager with Security Clearance
Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to support a company focused on HVAC and mechanical construction projects throughout the greater Chicago region. This position is remote with occasional travel support throughout Chicago, IL as needed (Project Manager will lead major HVAC/mechanical construction projects while managing critical vendor and stakeholder relationships. Your work will directly strengthen the infrastructure that keeps large-scale public and institutional facilities running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities for the Senior Project Manager include:
* Overseeing one large HVAC/mechanical project (≈$30M) along with smaller ad-hoc projects as needed.
* Managing and strengthening vendor relationships, particularly within the Chicago market.
* Coordinating across engineering, construction, and sales teams to support RFI responses and future project planning.
* Communicating on behalf of technical stakeholders such as construction managers and mechanical engineers.
* Supporting site activities as needed with occasional travel around the Chicago region.

Required Qualifications for the Senior Project Manager include:
* 5+ years of experience with project management, specifically within HVAC or mechanical services.
* Experience leading construction projects involving HVAC equipment such as air handler replacements, central plants, and large-scale mechanical systems.
* Strong vendor-management skills and ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams in engineering, construction, and sales.
* Construction background, with the ability to oversee multimillion-dollar projects
* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required. Compensation for the Senior Project Manager includes:
* Salary Range: $160,000-$180,000 depending on experience
