What You Can ExpectAs the Project Development Associate, you will support site origination and development of distributed solar and solar + storage projects for ENGIE's Distributed Solar and Storage (DSS) business in the United States. You will manage tasks related to land acquisition, permitting, environmental review, pre‑construction and other aspects of solar energy and storage project development to ultimately fulfill the company's renewable energy aspirations and growth strategy within North America.
- Support the development team in progressing multi‑project solar and storage portfolios across multiple states
- Perform due diligence for project sites to avoid development challenges and ensure all legal documents are executed
- Help maintain the pipeline data for projects under development at various stages
- Prepare and support the preparation and presentation for project/market reviews at the DSS level
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, environmental sciences, sustainability, engineering, or related fields
- General understanding of renewable energy market trends
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be available to travel domestically 25% of the time and may require some overnight trips
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Salary Range: $74,900 – $114,770 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate. ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
