Pay Range: $139,339 – $257,774

We are seeking a highly qualified Program Manager with a transportation/infrastructure background ready to support our growing Midwestern operations. The ideal candidate would be a Registered Professional Engineer in Illinois with a strong background in civil or structural engineering and an ability to lead complex transportation programs in collaboration with state and local agencies.

The prospective candidate will oversee and manage large‑scale transportation programs from planning through execution, coordinating with agencies and stakeholders to ensure compliance and successful project delivery. This role includes providing technical leadership on rail/transit and bridge projects, supporting construction management activities while maintaining safety and quality standards, and preparing and reviewing technical reports, proposals, and documentation with exceptional written communication skills.

Additionally, the position requires fostering strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring clear, professional communication throughout all phases of the project.

• Oversee and manage large-scale transportation programs from planning through execution.
• Coordinate with agencies and stakeholders to ensure program compliance and successful delivery.
• Provide technical leadership on rail/transit and bridge projects.
• Support construction management activities while maintaining safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and review technical reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships and maintain clear professional communication.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Registered professional engineer in Illinois – civil or structural engineer preferred.
• Program management experience required (5+ years).
• Construction management experience.
• Experience working with IDOT.
• Experience working with Chicago area transportation agencies.
• Rail/transit experience.
• Bridge experience.
• Good written communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
