Base pay range: $75,300.00/yr – $/yr

Your impact: You will work on environmental site characterization and remediation projects for government and global private‑sector clients. Based in the Midwest (Kansas City, MO; Saint Louis, MO; Minneapolis, MN; Chicago, IL; Milwaukee, WI; or Cincinnati, OH), you’ll participate in field and office tasks related to planning and implementing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage field projects.
- Collaborate and coordinate work with subcontractors, internal support staff, and subject matter experts.
- Analyze data, prepare technical reports, and design and implement pilot studies and remedial systems.
- Provide motivation and direction to project teams, while benefiting from mentorship opportunities to grow your career.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, or a closely related field.
- 5–10 years of professional experience delivering environmental site characterization and remediation projects, including fieldwork methodology, procedures, and assessment of environmental media.
- Experience working on project sites and overseeing subcontractors.
- Experience leading teams toward a common goal.
- 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification or ability to obtain it.
Ideally:
- Master’s degree in engineering, geology, or a closely related field.
- Professional registration (e.g., Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist) or intent to obtain and maintain professional certification.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with coworkers, contractors, and clients.
- Strong attention to detail when conducting field work and evaluating data.
- Familiarity with United States Environmental Protection Agency regulations including CERCLA and RCRA.
