EFK Moen, LLC – civil engineering design consulting firm headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri with additional offices in St. Charles, Chicago, Fairview Heights, Illinois, and Atlanta, Georgia. Full‑time position located in Chicago, IL office.

Pay:
Based on candidate experience, qualifications, market and business considerations.

• Starting Salary Range: $90,000 – $130,000

The transportation engineer will perform civil engineering design services in a team‑oriented environment. Project emphasis is transportation engineering design for both public는다 and private sectors, ranging from small to multimillion‑dollar designs. Services are provided to a wide range of clients, including state DOTs and other governmental agencies – municipal, county, and state.

• Daily production of civil engineering design plans.
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality design that adheres to the project budget and schedule.
• Responsible and accountable for client/customer satisfaction and technical project execution.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college/university required.
• 5‑10 years of hands‑on plan preparation experience for public agency roadway projects.
• PE license required.
• Proficiency in Micro Station as well as a related transportation design package (Open Roads Designer, Geopak贸易); candidates with an AutoCAD/Civil3D background will also be considered.
• Working knowledge of DOT/AASHTO Standards.
• DOT project experience preferred (IDOT is a plus).
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other general office software.

• Ability to sit at desk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to type and/or use a computer for extended periods of time.
• Sufficient visual ability to focus attention on extended use of electronic documents and software.
