The CAD Technician I supports the engineering team by producing accurate and detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role involves preparing plans, layouts, and schematics based on engineering specifications and design requirements for gas distribution or transmission projects. The CAD Technician ensures that all drawings comply with relevant standards, codes, and client expectations. Collaboration with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders is essential to revise and finalize designs, maintain documentation, and contribute to efficient project execution.
Responsibilities- Performing simple to complex CAD work
- Reading and understanding client standards and specifications, other project related documents and meeting their requirements.
- Data and document entry into various platforms.
- Scanning, copying, and filing documents.
- Reporting safety, health, and quality issues to management.
- Assist management as directed.
- High School Graduate
- 0–2 years of experience working in CAD
- Entry level CAD or Micro Station knowledge
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and relevant project management software.
- Knowledge of multiple CAD systems.

The actual base pay depends upon many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
