STRUCTURAL is seeking an experienced Foreman to join our team in Chicago. This growth opportunity focuses on concrete repair and rehabilitation work and will develop your leadership skills.
In this role you will collaborate with integrated repair companies to conduct field investigations and develop repair solutions for existing structures and buildings, requiring a deep understanding of how concrete structures are designed and behave. Experience in industrial and power‑generating buildings, dynamic equipment foundations, and environmental (liquid‑retaining) structures is essential.
Position Responsibilities- Perform and document inspections of concrete work to ensure compliance with project requirements, specifications, and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively, with proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Complete daily Foreman Reports, track and log daily site work, verify accuracy, and submit in a timely manner.
- Enforce established job site policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Assemble data into reports and communicate results in writing and verbally, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all inspection and testing records before submission.
- Coordinate required paperwork and signoffs for owner acceptance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related civil construction field.
- Minimum five years of expertise in concrete repair, with experience in coatings, waterproofing, and/or cathodic protection of concrete considered an advantage.
