KDM Engineering is a growing, award-winning, minority- and woman-owned professional engineering firm focusing on electric, gas, site civil, and telecommunications engineering designs and support services. The Sr. Electrical Engineer will contribute expertise, skills, and experience to the KDM Engineering team, coordinating and completing complex distribution designs and performing QA/QC checks on other designers' projects.

• Leads projects and project teams in the execution of mid-to-large scale projects
• Communicates and coordinates project activities with internal team members
• Performs Quality Assurance (QA) design reviews and Peer Reviews for all project documents
• Performs peer reviews and mentors project team members
• Assists in the preparation of scoping documents and fees
• Prepares and reviews project drawings in TED
• Resolves design questions and technical concerns
• Provides excellent client/customer service

• B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology preferred
• P.E. preferred
• 10 years minimum of experience with Distribution Design;
  Com Ed experience preferred
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards
• Ability to interface effectively with clients, employees, and management
• Motivated to continually take on more responsibility and lead the team

• Must be willing to comply with all pre-employment screening, including drug testing, reference verification, education and employment verification, and background screening
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Possess a valid Driver's License
