Key Responsibilities- Work with multi-discipline teams to develop design materials for heavy civil works projects such as generation, power infrastructure (transmission, distribution, substations), solar, wind, dams, buried infrastructure, tunnels, etc.
- Perform geotechnical design calculations, sketches, and prepare geotechnical design reports to meet project requirements.
- Perform, coordinate, and manage geotechnical field investigations.
- Coordinate, manage, observe, and document geotechnical construction activities such as grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, retaining walls, and other reinforcing methods.
- Be able to travel on field assignments as required (estimated field time 20–40%).
- Experience with geotechnical investigations, grouting, ground improvement, deep foundations, and retaining walls.
- Preferable:
Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering with emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering. - Active Engineering‑in‑Training (EIT) preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program or equivalent in the country of practice.
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
- Active Engineering‑in‑Training (EIT) License.
- Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after the first 90 days based on manager discretion.
- Typical office and construction environments, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, scaffolding, high places, exposure to chemicals).
- Requires sitting, walking, standing for extended periods; lifting up to 40 pounds.
