CDM Smith is an engineering and construction firm delivering legendary service, smart solutions for the environment and infrastructure. The Senior Mechanical Engineer leads and manages the design of mechanical/facilities-related projects within the MEP/Facilities market space.

• Create and support client relationships and lead project delivery for MEP/Facilities opportunities.
• Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals and review draft proposals for compliance.
• Attend conferences and symposia to improve firm visibility.
• Perform engineering designs including HVAC, plumbing, mechanical systems, sustainability and renewable energy.
• Review draft designs for compliance with regulations and sign off on completed designs.
• Provide technical guidance to junior staff and mentoring.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Architectural, Chemical Engineering, Engineering Technology or related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 10 years of related experience.
• Domestic or international travel may be required.

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) desired.

Pay Range: $109,179 – $191,048
